During this prestigious event, the company will unveil new demonstration applications, including advanced technologies used for battery assembly in the automotive industry.
Yamaha Robotics Factory Automation Division will demonstrate new robots and applications, highlighting the flexibility, productivity, and quality of automotive battery production and various industrial processes. Yamaha aims to draw special attention to SCARA robots, particularly the YK1200X model, designed to work with the highest precision. This robot features an arm length of up to 1200 mm and a payload capacity of up to 50 kg, making it an extremely versatile tool.
“Our demonstration shows how battery manufacturers can increase efficiency, production quality, and cost-effectiveness,” says Jumpei Ninomiya, Sales Manager at Yamaha’s FA division in Europe. During the event, Yamaha will showcase its latest robot, along with two demonstrations using LCMR200 linear modules, demonstrating how production lines can move components simultaneously in the x, y, and z directions, forward and backward, with electronically programmable speed, acceleration, and stop positions.
“This year, we are introducing new and engaging demonstrations at Automatica. They show how we can increase speed, efficiency, and flexibility in many industries, including automotive, food, pharmaceutical, electronics assembly, general manufacturing, packaging, and logistics,” adds Ninomiya. In addition to the latest technologies, Yamaha will enable visitors to explore the latest RCX-Studio graphical software for programming single and multi-robot systems.
