MIKRO-AUTOMATYKA has announced an increase in capacity and full production flexibility, thanks to an investment
in its fourth pick&place machine: YAMAHA YSM10.
Mikro-Automatyka from Gdańsk, operating for nearly 20 years, specializes in high-precision manufacturing of electronic packages. The company provides a wide range of services including SMT and THT assembly, logistical and design support and enjoys a high level of trust from its customers.
The year 2020 and the beginning of 2021 showed us that we have a high demand in the company for two highly efficient and interchangeable production lines, hence the decision to reinforce our second line with a YSM10 machine. Both lines have thus gained a true capacity of up to 50,000 components per hour each. This expansion is very important for us in terms of reliability. We have a new machine park with two independent lines, two independent 15-zone ovens, two AOI stations for inspection and an additional 7 stereo microscopes. This gives our customers confidence in the highest quality, timeliness and reliability of the equipment we assemble” – comments Michał Szypliński, owner of Mikro-Automatyka.
The YAMAHA YSM10 automatic machine implemented at Mikro-Automatyka was created in order to guarantee the highest efficiency and precision under conditions of intensive use. It is the fastest device in its class, with a capacity of up to 46000 CPH ( in accordance with IPC standard), while maintaining precision of ±0.025mm. Assembly can be carried out on boards as large as 510×460 mm. The machine is equipped as standard with a tape cutter at the front and back, which significantly aids cleaning and waste disposal. It is also possible to extend its functionality with the verification of co-planarity, automatic saving of settings, tray changer, multi-camera or UPS system.
