Paweł Malinowski, the leader of the Service Department at RENEX Group, secured fifth place in the international YAMAHA SMT TECHNICIAN GRAND PRIX 2023. This is also the highest ranking achieved by a European participant. The event, organized by the global leader in SMT equipment manufacturing, attracted the best specialists from various countries. The competition aimed to reward experts with extensive knowledge and skills in their field.
RENEX Group, renowned for employing highly qualified engineers, has once again confirmed its reputation through the achievements of its service leader. Paweł Malinowski demonstrated outstanding skills during the Yamaha service engineer championship qualifiers, earning a spot in the finals of the YAMAHA SMT TECHNICIAN GRAND PRIX 2023 held in Japan.
Competing against the top specialists from around the world, Malinowski placed 5th out of 12 finalists, making him the best Yamaha technician in Europe. His success reflects the high standard of services offered by RENEX and his extensive knowledge and experience in servicing Yamaha machines.
The event consisted of two stages: online qualifiers and the final. Over 100 participants took part in the qualifiers, with the top 12 advancing to the final held at YAMAHA headquarters in Japan. The competition assessed a broad range of skills, from theoretical knowledge of the equipment to practical service skills and remote support capabilities.
The RENEX specialist showcased not only excellent theoretical understanding but also the ability to quickly and effectively solve practical problems.
The achieved ranking underscores Paweł Malinowski’s exceptional competencies in servicing complex electronic devices and his quick problem-solving skills. His success not only strengthens RENEX’s position as an industry leader but also highlights the high quality of Polish specialists in the global electronics industry. It is noteworthy that these achievements are not accidental but result from the company’s long-term strategy, which emphasizes continuous training and development of its employees. The accomplishment also attests to the high quality of training and technical support provided by RENEX, previously confirmed by the title of Best YAMAHA Service in Europe in 2020.

In the previous edition in 2021, he secured third place, demonstrating his continuous growth and dedication to excellence in his field. In 2021, RENEX Group also received the YAMAHA Best Service Provider Award. The company was recognized for its excellent services related to equipment servicing, installation, and training on SMT component assembly and inspection.
This award was granted to RENEX Group as the best in Europe. Paweł Malinowski works daily as the service department manager at RENEX. His main task is to assist RENEX clients and partners in utilizing their equipment and production lines. Together with his team, he provides service, advisory, and training support.
