Angelika Szymańska began her judo journey in 2007 at the age of just 8. She quickly started achieving success, winning many prestigious titles, including two gold medals at the Senior World Cup: in Cluj-Napoca (2019) and Warsaw. She has won four gold medals at the Polish Youth Championships and, in addition to a silver (2017) and bronze (2018) medal at the Polish Senior Championships, she also holds two golds.
“The beginnings were not easy, but over time I started to like it more and more, and that’s how I stayed until today,” recalls the athlete. Angelika trains under the guidance of Aneta Szczepańska, a former judoka who has won medals at the Olympic Games.
