According to its distributor, the RENEX Group, YAMAHA will present at Productronica new solutions designed for manufacturing based on data collection and analysis. The event will mark the European debut of new surface mount and inspection systems, intuitive YsUP software, and robotics solutions.
YAMAHA will showcase both SMT manufacturing and industrial robotics solutions at Productronica. On display will be the new YR series of advanced surface-mount machines, YsUP software for smart factory operations, SCARA universal industrial robots, and LCM modular linear conveyors.
Two YRM20 mounters will be at Productronica to demonstrate the Yamaha 1 Stop Smart Solution. Built on Yamaha’s next-generation mounter platform, the YRM20 also introduces an advanced rotary RM-head, eATS smart non-stop tray handler and new ZSR high-speed feeder to set class-leading placement speed of 115,000 cph.
Two YRM20 mounters will be at Productronica to demonstrate the Yamaha 1 Stop Smart Solution. Built on Yamaha’s next-generation mounter platform, the YRM20 also introduces an advanced rotary RM-head, eATS smart non-stop tray handler and new ZSR high-speed feeder to set class-leading placement speed of 115,000 cph. In addition, the AOI YRi-V 3D device will be demonstrated. It features a newly developed inspection head with a high-speed, high-resolution camera and an eight-direction 3D projector. With a processing engine powered by a high-performance GPU, and featuring AI-powered deep learning, the YRi-V lets owners inspect complex, densely populated assemblies quickly and accurately. There are also new features to simplify programming and ease operator training. New features have also been introduced to simplify programming and facilitate operator training.
Also on display at the YAMAHA booth will be the new YSP10 premium printer. With a new advanced transport system, as well as the ability to fully autonomously change stencils, the device is highly efficient and reduces operator workload.
Yamaha’s new YsUP programming software and GUI features a wizard to guide data processing, a data editor with 3D board visualization, real-time drawing of parts, and checks component placement and polarity using board gerber data or PCB image. It supports advanced optimizing scenarios like grouping multiple programs.
In addition, YAMAHA’s new Material Information System (YsUP-MI) assists setup configuration and verification and enable full parts control during production and help manage moisture-sensitive devices (MSD) and LED BIN codes.
The software-focused areas of the booth will present additional solutions to assist smart manufacturing. They include the customisable Production Analytics Dashboard and the new Yamaha Intelligent Factory connectivity solution: this advanced data communication platform interfaces with third-party MES, ERP, or MRP software and provides live machine status, advanced process control (APC), live traceability, and two-way verification.
YAMAHA will also showcase the YK400XE affordable, high-performance SCARA robot with Asycube intelligent parts feeder, and the LCMR200 linear conveyor module, to show how fast and flexible robots are more accessible than ever for component handling, assembly automation, materials dispensing, and product packing. The YK-XE family includes models with up to 710mm reach and payload capacity from 4kg to 10kg.
Also present at the fair will be YAMAHA’s Partner and Distributor in Poland and the Balkan countries – RENEX Group. At this stand we will present YAMAHA SCARA robots used as ready to be implemented into production lines – REECO Robots. Depending on the model, the devices can perform operations such as screw assembling, dispensing, soldering or labeling.
For this year’s Productronica, a presentation with three models is planned: REECO Soldering Robot, REECO Dispensing Robot and REECO Coating Robot, for which this will be the European premiere. This section will illustrate the capabilities of these devices in various applications using their electronics production as an example. Its key element will be the presentation of the capabilities of the Soldering Robot in terms of automation of the process of the PCB through-hole soldering. Moreover, the operation and wide range of applications of the Dispensing Robot based on a volumetric pump will be presented. This device allows the application of substances with high viscosity, such as adhesives or silicones. The presentation will be complemented by the Coating Robot, one of whose functions is to apply conformal coatings, which are increasingly being used to protect electronics from external conditions.
RENEX Group will also present other products under its REECO brand, including specialist industrial furniture, clothing and equipment, which are becoming increasingly popular on foreign markets.
