YAMAHA will be showcasing its latest developments in industrial robotics at MOTEK in Stuttgart, according to representative – RENEX Group. The event will be held both on-site and online.
MOTEK 2021 will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, from October 5-8, where YAMAHA will showcase flexible and affordable robotics solutions.
Among others, the SCARA YK400XE robot with the YAMAHA RCXiVY2+ vision system will be on display at the fair. The device will pick up a mix of sweets to illustrate the system’s ability to quickly recognize and work with objects of irregular size and shape.
In addition, the SCARA YK400XE robot and the YAMAHA RCXiVY2+ vision system will also be demonstrated in a configuration using software developed by YAMAHA for integration with the Asyril Asycube intelligent parts feeder.
This sample application makes it possible to pick up components delivered in bulk, position them while in motion and place them very precisely in the desired position.
Another robot presented will be the LCMR200 linear conveyor module. The device enables the realization of advanced workpiece transport – with programmable direction, speed and acceleration, combining capabilities beyond conventional belt and roller conveyors with modular flexibility. The LCMR200 can enhance the performance of fully automated, semi-automated or fully manual production lines.
