RENEX Group specialist Paweł Malinowski took third place in a competition organized by YAMAHA with the aim of finding the best service engineers in the world.

The competition gathered YAMAHA SMT service engineers from all over the world. The goal was to identify and reward the best specialists, representing the highest level of theoretical and practical knowledge.

Questions and tasks presented to the participants covered the whole range of YAMAHA equipment for manufacturing electronics: including automatic pick & place machines, stencil printers, and inspection equipment. Skills of fast and effective problem solving were tested, both through service activities and with the use of remote support tools such as Remote Machine Support and All Image Tracer.

The entire event was held in an online format and consisted of two stages – preliminaries and a final aimed at the best 15 specialists. Paweł Malinowski, a representative of RENEX Group, finished the elimination round in the third place.

In the final part the RENEX specialist demonstrated the highest problem-solving skills. Among the participants he was awarded a Special Prize, as a recognition of his non-standard approach and the fact that he was the only one to deal with certain stages of the round flawlessly.

In the end, Pawel Malinowski finished the final stage, as well as the whole competition, placing third among YAMAHA SMT specialists from all over the world.

In February 2021, RENEX Group was awarded the YAMAHA Best Service Provider Award.  The Group was then recognized for the best, on a European scale, level of services related to the servicing of delivered devices, their installation and conducted training in the field of assembly and inspection of SMT components.
