RENEX Group is launching two new types of specialist floor coverings for cleanrooms and EPA: MIPOLAM Biocontrol EL5 and Biocontrol ESD+.
Two Gerflor flooring models, Mipolam Biocontrol EL5 and Mipolam Biocontrol ESD+, are new additions to the portfolio. New products have been developed to create floors in cleanroom type areas, where they create a non-porous, non-slip, abrasion resistant and easy to clean surface. The homogeneous vinyl material used and the Evercare coating are highly resistant to abrasion and chemicals. As a result, esd floors can be used in clean room environments up to and including ISO class 4 and GMP class A, and they maintain their required properties even under heavy traffic conditions.
At the same time, esd coverings have conductive properties, which makes it possible to use them in spaces, where it is necessary to minimise the risk related to electrostatic discharges – such as in EPA zones. This is particularly true for Mipolam Biocontrol ESD+, which is characterised by extremely low body voltage generation – not exceeding 10V. The antistatic linings are 2mm thick and are available in rolls of 2m width and a maximum length of 20m.

The two new products have been introduced as a continuation of the distribution cooperation between RENEX and GERFLOR Groups established last October. In addition, depending on the model, they are available in several fixing systems, including bonded to the subfloor and unfolded like a puzzle.
