RENEX Group, a distributor for YAMAHA, has informed about the tightening of cooperation between YAMAHA SMT and the Swedish company Nordic Industries & Technology AB.
Success in the electronic manufacturing services industry depends on ensuring the highest quality in every aspect. Håkan Svensson knew this when he setup Nordic Industries & Technology AB in Sweden, in 1997, and his commitment to quality has defined the company’s philosophy ever since. It has also guided key decisions, especially when selecting suppliers and technical partners.
The company now announces an even larger investment – the largest since its inception – that includes an expansion of its headquarters and the launch of two new advanced surface mounting lines. To this end, it has strengthened its partnership with YAMAHA, which will supply Yamaha YCP10 printers, two YSM20R mounters, and the YSi-V 3D AOI system.
“We choose the companies we work with very carefully. (…) To uphold our own reputation, we need them to deliver top performance at all times.” Håkan Svensson.

YAMAHA’s high-speed surface mount and inspection systems make it possible to create complex electronics production lines dedicated to the latest techniques and technologies. The YCP10 and YSM20R, with their speed and flexibility as well as the associated intuitive programming tools, allow for the efficient implementation of diverse and frequently changing projects. This fits perfectly with the needs of Nordic Industries, which serves a wide range of customers in market sectors such as automotive, industrial and medical.
Lines created in this way can be quickly rearmed to assemble more circuit boards: from smart sensors to electronic car components, which often include custom components and large connectors.
The YCP10 is a compact printer that can handle large PCBs. It operates at high speed while maintaining consistently high print accuracy, thanks to the YAMAHA 3S printhead with servo-controlled squeegee angle, vacuum-assisted stencil clamping and an easy-to-use graphical positioning system.
The YSM20R mounter, with its one-head design that handles components from 0201mm SMD chips to large-size ICs, is the fastest mounter in its class. There are also options for feeder exchange and tray replacement that extend non-stop operation to further boost productivity.
Equipped with a high-resolution camera, the YAMAHA YSi-V AOI system enables 2D and 3D inspection as well as viewing from multiple angles for high accuracy and efficient inspection. The YSI-V allows the highest possible quality to be achieved in ongoing production, and the inspection data helps to solve problems and improve the process.
“The YSM20 mounters we chose back in 2015 have proved to be a wise investment and continue to perform faultlessly , enabling us to maintain the extremely high quality standards we always seek to achieve. (…) We can’t wait to move into our newly extended factory and start using our new Yamaha assembly solutions and the inspection system.”
Håkan Svensson commented.
YAMAHA industrial equipment and robots are also available in Poland. They can be viewed and tested in action at RENEX TECHNOLOGY AND TRAINING CENTER. Within this center RENEX Group – which is one of the largest Polish companies in the electronics industry, as well as a distributor of YAMAHA SMT and Robotics for Poland and the Balkan countries – pursues its mission of providing comprehensive services for the electronics industry. RENEX Group provides not only the equipment itself but also a wide range of consulting, service and training services. RENEX TECHNOLOGY AND TRAINING CENTER specialists help identify production problems and select appropriate technological solutions.
The Center also provides training in the field of implemented solutions. The center also houses an AUTHORIZED YAMAHA TRAINING CENTER, providing expertise in the operation and programming of industrial devices and robots, including SCARA robots, which allows users to take full advantage of their capabilities.
