PACE company, an American company producing equipment for electronics, offers more than ten ST-series soldering stations, which will certainly satisfy all the needs of electronics and enable the realization of both simple and very complex plans.
The ST line is launched by the analogue soldering stations ST 25E and ST 35E, which, despite their simple operation, allow very versatile use of the devices, allowing the use of up to 90 tips of different sizes and geometries, which can be replaced without switching off the station.
The stations also provide temperature control and stabilization with high accuracy and other useful functions in everyday work, e.g.: blocking the set temperature or signaling the reaching of the set temperature. A very important feature of all ST stations is that no calibration is necessary.
The more advanced station ST 50 and station ST 70 are equipped with microprocessor control – they enable very precise, setting and controlling the temperature on the display, as well as programming the temperature values, measuring and reading the actual temperature, programmable temperature reduction (standby) down to 178°C, automatic shutdown after a set time and password protection of the settings made.
In addition, the ST 45 N station is suitable for soldering in a nitrogen shield. The ST series is completed by the most advanced devices of the ST 75 (analogue) and ST 115 (digital) designations. Both stations are equipped with a compressor with adjustable suction/overflow modes, which allows for precise and safe disassembly as well as the use of reflow soldering in complex processes assembly with soldering paste.
Digital ST 115 E has enhanced programming and control functions, the most important of which is the ability to set temperature offset.
In addition to single-channel stations, Pace also offers stations capable of powering and controlling more handles and auxiliary tools, e.g.: soldering handle, paste dispenser and pneumatic tweezers for lifting and positioning the workpiece on the board – such devices are the two-channel station MBT 301, three-channel MBT 350 and multi-channel PRC 2000.
Different handles are available for soldering stations:
1. Soldering handles PS 70 and PS 90 – with a large heat transfer surface between radiator and tip and the possibility of using up to 90 bits for assembly and disassembly.
2. the TJ-70 Thermojet TJ-70 handle for disassembly/removal of SMD systems by blowing hot air.
3. suction handle SX-80 – designed for disassembly of all types of coated systems and TSOP and TQFP systems.
4. TT-65 thermotwizzers handle for disassembly of SMD systems: CHIP, SOIC, PLAC and connectors.
5. TP-65 thermopik handle for disassembling PQFP systems, working with 11 standard heads.
6. Dualtermopik DTP-80 handle similar to TP-65, but equipped with two heating elements, allowing more efficient work with large PQFP systems. This handle can also work with the tips designed to dismantle BGA169 and 225.
The MINIWAVE (MINIFALA) is distinguished by its huge number of different tips, specially designed for fast, precise and safe assembly of SMD systems (PLCC and PQFP) up to 0.3 mm.
Last year, the PACE range of soldering stations was expanded by two new devices: the ultra-modern TW 100 and TH 100 – digitally controlled stations with ergonomic shapes.
